Temple Activities
In establishing a temple of Sri Sri Krishna Balaram in Mauritius, Srila Prabhupāda's dedicated disciples wanted to offer the peaceful, transcendental atmosphere of Vṛndāvana to all people, including visitors from abroad, commuters from around Mauritius, devotees and local people. The idea behind an ISKCON centre is to give people nice prasadam, engage them in chanting, visiting the temple, reading books, and give them all facility for becoming devotees.
Human life is meant for God realization, and the human being is given higher intelligence for this purpose.
As far as eating is concerned, it can be regulated only when one is practiced to take and accept prasādam, sanctified food.
Every Sunday as from2.30 p.m onwards, come join us to experience the unique bliss of Krishna consciousness.

Bhakti-yoga, or Kṛṣṇa consciousness
When we speak of yoga we refer to linking our consciousness with the Supreme Absolute Truth. When the linking process is predominantly in a devotional relationship with the Supreme Lord it is called bhakti-yoga. Bhakti-yoga, or Kṛṣṇa consciousness, is the ultimate perfection of all yogas.

Volunteer Opportunities
There are many ways to volunteer at the temple. You don’t need a special skill or experience. We have many volunteer opportunities which can be undertaken by anyone without training.
If you do have a special skill, please let us know, as this would be a wonderful way to benefit our community. Hare Krishna
The special beauty of Kṛṣṇa’s body was His mild smiling, His restless eyes and His world-enchanting songs.
One’s sincere endeavor to perform these nine processes of devotional service is technically called bhakti.
Bhagavad-gītā is a transcendental literature which one should read very carefully.
Kṛṣṇa means all attractive.
